The following tournament brackets and teams have been scheduled into a mini-Futsal type of tournament to be held on January 24, 2010 at the sports dome located with the CCV Stars Sports Complex. All teams are to report to the tournament headquarters tent to check your team in 60 minutes prior to the time your bracket is scheduled to play. Please review your schedule below. U7 & U8 INDOOR SOCCER RULES:
- No cleats permitted. Turf or Tennis shoes only
- All games controlled by a rolling clock
- 6 players play at a time (5 on field and 1 goalie)
- Game length is 15 minutes. Game consists of 1 period; no halves or quarters
- Use size 3 soccer ball
- Referee will be provided
- 1st team listed on game schedule is home team and kicks off to start the game
- Kickoffs take place after every goal and to start game
- Goal kicks from top of goalie box
- No throw-ins; ball out of bounds results in kick in from sideline
- No goals scored directly from a dead ball kick, including: Free kick, goal kick, kickoff, corner kick
- NO PENALTY KICKS
- No offsides called
- Substitute on own team's possession (kick-in, goal kick, kickoff)
